Nothing Special

While this product is not bad by any means, I don’t really think it does enough to justify its steep price. I’ve been using it for several months and besides some immediate hydration have not experienced much improvement to skin tone or texture as it claims. I was really excited to try it because I like other Violette FR products but overall I think there are better options out there for less. The positives: The mister is nice and pretty fine and the packing is cute (but a bit cheap feeling for the price). This didn’t break me out either! It’s fun for a little spritz in the morning before more skincare. I do like that it’s usuing clean ingredients. The negatives: The product claims to be an all in one, and while it might work for you as a toner or serum, I don’t think it’s anywhere near hydrating enough to be a moisturizer replacement. I do have skin on the dry side but the hydrating effects just don’t last very long so I can’t see it working for most skin types in that way. It has a bit of an unpleasant earthy smell that I don’t care for and I feel like it leaves a film on my face afterwards that stays tacky for a long time.

Holy grail

I’m an over consumer to my core. I try ALOT of products throughout the year and there hasn’t been a product I’ve loved this much in a long time. Unfortunately for me the price is hefty but I keep repurchasing regardless bc I can’t live without it. It makes my skin feel hydrated, smooth, balanced and less red (I am fair skinned with strawberry blonde hair) so very prone to redness and the occasional breakout. I’ve noticed less redness and breakouts which is huge for me. I use it morning and night. I used to have an elaborate skincare routine and now I just pretty much use this! I’m completely obsessed and will never stop rebuying!

Shockingly good!

On my fifth bottle of this stuff. I was so skeptical of it when I first tried since I tend to just buy from dermatologist recommended or science backed brands (not trying to diss this brand, but a skincare item from a mostly makeup brand did make me skeptical!), but ended up giving it a try. I don't know what it is, but my skin LOVES this stuff. I swear I see a noticeable difference in just how glowy and hydrated it looks after a day or two. I sometimes take breaks from using it, but I always end up coming back to it. Beats the Rhode milk by far for me, which I wasn't expecting! Love, love this product.
