The people giving negative reviews obviously were just buying for the price tag, and not reading the instructions. The gritty texture is because the pure powder is within, and pure effective L-asorbic vitamin C will often cause discomfort and tingling. So they recommend you mix with your moisturizer to minimize discomfort. And if it causes discomfort , use 1-2 times a week, and see how your skin tolerates it. A lot of companies are selling you just something that feels good, and based on our lack of education on the matter, equate that to being effective, including a hefty price tag.

Don’t buy if you have sensitive skin
Had to throw it away half way through. I have sensitive skin and it would either burn me, and cause redness (even with sandwich method) or it would cause breakouts, it was never good, I could not even see any positive results.

I have been using this for months. If you use it properly it’s very effective and gives you a noticeable glow. You NEED to have a solid barrier repair regimen and work your way up to using this. I like to combine this with a little moisturizer before applying.

-L-Ascorbic Acid: Visibly reduces multiple signs of aging and brightens the skin tone. -Dehydrated Spheres of Hyaluronic Acid: Offer visible surface smoothing alongside the benefits of vitamin C.
Suggested Usage: -Apply a small amount to face in the AM or the PM (PM preferred).
Precautions: -A strong but non-irritating tingling sensation can be expected after application. If the sensation is too strong to tolerate, the formula can be mixed on each application with other creams or serums of your preference. -Due to the powder form of l-ascorbic acid used, this formula feels gritty for a few seconds after application. If you prefer to avoid this gritty feel, use the Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone formula.
