It felt lovely in spring and summer going good even in autumn days. The opening feels rosy but it settles and becomes smoother, warmer. Performance wise its noticeable, the scent stays close to skin. The drydown is beautiful, it's soft, slightly powdery and woody. It's definitely a luxurious fragrance, it makes me feel special, it's worth considering if your a rose lover.

Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Penhaligons The Coveted Duchess Rose Eau de Parfum has a very classic, traditional rose scent. Its quite rich and powdery, with a strong floral presence that lingers well throughout the day. While its clearly a high-quality fragrance and will appeal to those who enjoy vintage-style perfumes, it wasnt quite to my personal taste. I tend to prefer fresher, lighter scents, so this one felt a little too heavy for me. That said, if you love a bold, classic rose fragrance, this could be a great choice.
