Im getting into gourmands because of scents like this but it isnt just gourmand, its a complex vanilla because it does have a twist but it is also that familiar caramel like vanilla. It is my very favorite Penhaligon scent, with La Favourite second, and maybe Empressa third. It surprised me a lot how much I loved it because Im normally a clean fragrance girl. Now Im obsessed with vanilla. It just has to be the best kind of vanilla which this is. Hopefully I get more Penhaligon scents. Beautifully packaged, it looks like it should be out for display.

Lovely smell

Gorgeous perfume

Unique scent that makes you fall in love with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very interesting fragrance . At first you get hit by the top and mid notes . The cardamom and pimento mix with the caramel to give it a very unique opening . Its not like a gourmand type caramel but a soft, cool type that doesnt stick at the back of your throat, possibly from the cardamon as it cools the scent down.Very well blended scent and I get plenty of complements on it, sadly it doesnt last long!love the bottle,very nice design.Pricey for the performance tho!

Not my scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didnt enjoy this perfume. I found it to be too much when I wore it, it was overpowering. Im unsure as to price for a bottle but personally I wouldnt recommend it. As it was only a sample size its quite possible that I didnt manage to experience the scent properly.
