Should’ve bought this sooner

I used my Sephora points to try this sample and I’m obsessed! I have a mix of 3A/3B/4A curly hair, and I’ve tried the Marc Anthony line and CHI heat protectant, but both left my hair feeling heavy, with buildup and dryness. This product is a miracle! It doesn’t soften and detangle as well as the original one. The scent is more subtle than the original one as well. To get the same performance I had to use double the usual amount of product. It felt very watery. I do like the packaging though.

I have very fine hair and a lot of it. Does it detangle? Yes, but so do countless other products. I love this smell normally, but after a few hours, my hair smells exactly like Play-Doh, which was such a bummer! I thought maybe it was a one-time thing, but I’ve tried it multiple times since, and same thing-Play-Doh. Doesn’t do a whole lot for my frizz either

I would not buy this specific leave-in next time because I still get frizz even after using it. Maybe because I have very brittle, frizzy hair, but I don’t regret it. It works okay.

I have type 4 hair, and I deal with issues such as dryness, breakage and frizz. I love that this leave in also has heat protection as I used heat tools on my hair. This leave-in had an amazing smell. I used it on my hair both when it was damp and dry, and it made my hair very hydrated. It's also made my hair soft.
