I bought this as a sunscreen but ended up using it as a moisturizer. As a sunscreen, I hate it. It’s quite greasy and makes me very shiny. It also migrates into my eyes and causes my eyes to sting and water. No white cast, though. And I personally really like the smell (I’d describe it as a classic sunscreen scent with a botanical/woodsy fragrance added).
Because it was a million dollars, I obviously wanted to finish it, so I started using it like an ointment underneath my daily sunscreen on dry spots and around my nose and it worked very well that way as a rich moisturizer to stop any dry skin from flaking. It would be a great moisturizer if it didn’t have the eye-burning uv filters in it. And it’s just wasteful if you use enough of it to get adequate UV protection out of it.
I will never understand the value proposition of a sunscreen at this price point though.

Worth the splurge
I have combination, acne-prone skin, so I'm always nervous about using products that make me break out. I have had no issues with Dermalogica products and say this is the best sunscreen out there. I am olive-toned and this leaves no white case. It gives my skin just the right amount of hydration without feeling greasy. I think it's worth the investment. I'll definitely be repurchasing!

I tried a mini sample and love the thick and soothing moisturizing texture but don’t love the clean sunscreen smell.

Caused cystic acne
I used this every day for 2 weeks, and at first I loved it. It’s hydrating without looking greasy and was a perfect makeup primer. The scent is strong but didn’t bother my eyes so I was ok with it. However, the second d week I started to get painful cystic acne from it.

Awful
Worst sunscreen I've used in awhile. It's thick and greasy. My skin looked like it was coated in oil and yet felt parched and dry and sticky. In addition, the eye stinging was completely unbearable. I'm glad this garbage came in the sample bag and I didn't spend $87 on this mess.

Way too fragrant
I will give this 3 stars because it feels really nice on the skin and absorbs easily. It’s pretty shiny but the main issue for me is the smell. It’s very strong and doesn’t dissipate very quickly. It gives me a headache and it’s just a really odd, strong scent that hurts my eyes and nose.

My Shaylaaaa! My all time favourite sunscreen. It’s the best kind and you can put it under your makeup without the worry of it piling.

Best moisturizer hands down & lovely light scent!
I have used the Dynamic Moisturizer for many years both day & night! It has a beautiful satin finish, and at 42 years old, I literally have zero wrinkles thanks to this lovely cream. Love that it has spf 50 as I burn easily & it stays on great while I’m holding and sweating!!!

Great sunscreen for olive skin tones
I finally found a sunscreen that doesn’t cause breakouts and is moisturizing without a white cast on my olive skin! It is pricey but I keep going back to Dermalogica products because of their quality.
