A subtle take on the OG
I enjoy the Carbone EDP and decided to get the EDT for comparison. You get the same musk, Animalic and very seductive rose/civet/leather blend. However, it stays closer to the skin and barely forms any bubble
around you. Basically, the EDT to me is for your personal enjoyment or if you love the smell of the OG but find it too strong. The EDT stays on clothes all day BUT youll have to dig your nose in to smell the fragrance. I like the EDT and appreciate how Balmain retained the smell from the EDP in this but tweaked the performance, as expected for an EDT.

Leather and Cedar
I used this scent before leaving my house and, whike it was very strong for the first couple hours, it calmed down after a while and was more mellow. The perfume was androgynous, with a more masculine side. It had heavy leather and cedar notes, with undertones of clean soap and perhaps baby powder. It wasn't particularly feminine, just smelled like the woods and car interiors. But like nice cars. I received this product for free from Balmain for testing and review purposes.
