Tropical vacation
This perfume lasts for HOURS. I accidentally sprayed it on my dresser and I can still smell it a day after. The scent is alright. It’s very warm and tropical, but not like sunscreen. Think tropical vacation where you almost smell coconut but it’s not quite there. That being said it’s a very layered scent and it doesn’t smell cheap. I’m more of a citrus girly but was drawn to the bergamot. This scent is on the cusp of vanilla if that makes sense. So if you don’t like vanilla or coconut you probably won’t like this

Beautiful scent!
I get the hype! This scent smells DIVINE. It is fresh, airy, floral with a little woody in depth. Everything harmonizes perfectly. Fresh, bright airy citrus as the opening, then powdery floral kicking in and finally settling down with warm skin-like woody as the finish touch. The more I wear it, the more I’m in love with this scent. It lasts almost 9 hours on my skin and almost going to the next day on my clothes. Insane longevity I must say. If Blanche introduces me to Byredo House, Bal d’Afrique has my heart. Packaging is 10 out 10 as always from Byredo. I definitely highly recommend it if you love woody-floral scent with a airy citrus opening!

A new must have!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The fragrance is unlike anything I have ever smelled. It is clean and has a very quiet luxury feel to it. The floral tones of the African marigold are phenomenal. I’m not typically a floral person but the balance of florals and the cozy Tonka bean makes this fragrance so unique. I highly recommend.
