[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This scent is very strong and I am not a fan. I sprayed it and it lasted a long time, but the scent is too strong and musky for me. I do feel like it is a good aroma, but not a good smell. I feel like the value may not be worth it to me.

Unexpected Amazingness
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Gypsy Water perfume is not what I excepted! The smell is so good and strong. It’s very unique, it has a main black pepper and smokey approach but dries down to this woody campfire fragrance. It lasts a long time too and I periodically smell it throughout the day.

Unpleasant smell, strong hint of pepper
I had high hopes for Byredo Gypsy water but it did not live up to the hype. Wow, many praise fragrance for being subtle and woody, my experience is completely opposite. The smell is very potent! Immediately upon spraying, I was hit with an overwhelming hint of pepper! And instead of settling into smooth, warm scent, it retains a harsh chemical edge that resembles mosquito repellent.

Suggested Usage: -Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. -After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. -If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent. -Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.
Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?: The difference lies in the volume of perfume oil. While EDT contains five to nine percent, EDP contains more, usually eight to 14 percent. EDPs, therefore, last longer and smell more intense.
