I have fine, straight hair and an oily scalp. My hair gets dirty faaaast and I wash it daily so I have to be careful about the ends of my hair drying out. My hair also doesn’t retain curl and goes flat with any amount of humidity. So I look for styling products that give my hair styling hold and humidity protection. This product added some volume but didn’t make the ends of my hair look healthy and didn’t provide hold when I went for a walk outside. It’s an ok product but not fantastic.

such high hopes…but just no :(
It made my hair very *odd* feeling. I felt like it actually took longer to blow dry (I have finer hair to begin with) and it tugged, pulled like crazy. It also left a very waxy, if not film, like finish. Post blow dry, my end knotted up like crazy and continued this process (brush —> instantly knotted / tangled) instantly until I washed it again days later. It also was not forgiving of my roots and just made my hair overall feel dirty, look dingy / dried out, and complicated the process more unfortunately.

Meh… I didn’t really feel this product was worth the money. I have short, minimally color treated hair that I blow dry. I just wanted a really good heat protectant, and the rave reviews sold me. It didn’t perform for me like it did others and there are better blow dry sprays for less $$$. If you’re on the fence, don’t waste your money.

BEWARE: ALCOHOL
A huge part of the reason this works so so well is the sheer amount of alcohol it contains. The second ingredient is denatured alcohol and the fourth is literally rubbing alcohol. I would give it one star for that, but the efficacy of the product was so high for me that I gave it another star. Will have to return, my hair has already started drying out unfortunately. If your hair is ok with alcohol though, then I highly recommend!!
