I'm in my late 40s with combination skin and I'm liking this foundation so far. It is a bit dewy in the TZone after about 7 hours of wear. Nothing crazy, but if you want actual matte you'll need to touch up with powder. Coverage is great and buildable. It feels like any other foundation though. It doesn't show more or less texture and pores than my other foundations and does remain slightly tacky throughout the day.
You'll want to get shade matched in store though. I have peach undertones and 17 Light Medium Cool was the best match we found for me in store in this foundation. Even Sephora's shade finder matched me to it after entering my Haus Labs 210 Light Medium Peach.
It's a perfectly nice foundation that I'll enjoy reaching for.

Don't recommend for durability
I have been using this foundation for about a month now. The shade is perfect. So when I leave for school about 12:30 pm I put the foundation on. When I get home and start removing this foundation, 2 1/2 hours later there's nothing on the makeup wipe!! Almost as if I never applied it!! I see the reviews and some are Raving about the longevity of this foundation. I wish it stayed put for me. I even applied a setting spray to be sure!! But no it didn't stay for me!! I wanted to love this foundation so much!!

Wasn’t my shade, but that doesn’t have to do with my review. This foundation I don’t feel like it lives up to its price at all. It didn’t cover anything, and sticks to the skin badly even after many washes with different makeup removers and soaps. The formula is also extremely drying on the skin. Not for me, but if you like your foundation to stick to you no matter what, then this is for you.

Best Foundation for a Natural Finish
This is an amazing foundation. The texture is so nice, almost like a mousse given how light it is. Buildable without ever feeling heavy. The finish is so natural looking. First time wearing on a humid summer night in Chicago and I received a ton of compliments on how nice my skin looked. I think the matte claim is true but expect some shine to come through after several hours of wear. With a setting powder and spray, I maybe need to blot once during the day.
