A very pretty scent. I really enjoy the dry down on this fragrance. I personally am not a fan of the almond notes too much, but that goes away with the dry down in my opinion. This is not something I’m obsessed over and think there are better scents by Skylar. A nice addition to your collection if you don’t have a plethora of gourmands.

Simple Gourmand
Lovely perfume! It is incredibly gourmand, as expected, and smells edible. My only issue is that I think a lot of the ‘softer notes’ are overwhelmed by the sweet vanilla/cake notes. The rose water, pistachio, and almond notes that are meant to make the perfume more of a ‘spicy-gourmand’ are not very present to me. I wish I could smell those notes more, but it’s still a nice gourmand and has good wear-time and projection.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I loved the scent. It smells like walking into a bakery full of different cakes to sample. The almond cake is such a nice light sweet note. I really enjoyed how delicately sweet this perfume was. Overall longevity wise, there’s a bit to be desired. I did have to reapply a few times throughout the day.
