Designed for cold weather climes, this surplus-inspired parka is crafted from a water-resistant fabric and insulated with 650-fill-power down. Removable faux-fur trim at the hood and teddy fleece lining at the upper body provides additional warmth.

- Size 4 has a 19.75" front body length, an 18.75" back body length, and a 21.5" sleeve length. Sleeve length is taken from the center back of the neck

- Long sleeves with interior ribbed cuffs. "Polo Ralph Lauren" shield patch with our signature Pony at the left sleeve. Two chest snapped pockets. Two front waist snapped pockets

It is quite heavy for a kid, but good jacket.

I like it, but hope there will be some improvement
As a parent, I really like this product, but I do have a few comfort-related suggestions from a childs point of view.
I wish the collar area were made with a softer material, like fleece, because when the zipper is pulled all the way up, it can feel a bit hard against a childs neck or chin.
It would also be great if the large pocket could be accessed from the side instead of the top, which would be easier for kids to use on their own.
Lastly, the inner sleeve (cuff) could be a little looser so kids can easily get their hands in and out without feeling restricted.
