Do not buy the full size before testing it!

Do not buy the full size before testing! I usually love Tatcha products, but this one is a huge letdown and now my return window is gone and I literally will need to trash it because there’s no way I can use it. It smells terrible, texture is heavy and it’s hard to be removed (you’ll need to use makeup remover, only water doesn’t work). Save your money and buy other product.

Packaging has flaws

Love the product, terrible packaging. I lost so much of it on a recent trip. Such a waste of a product that is very expensive. I learned to put it in a ziploc after it leaked all over my makeup bag.

Never buy this if you are prone to acne or breakouts. A terrible product. After a week of use, it triggered a severe flare-up of acne and breakouts. It is not worth buying at all. I purchased it as part of the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit.

I wish I did not like this as much as I do, it's so pricey. Texture is almost primer-like, hydrating without being greasy, and nice glow - the color on my medium olive skin manages to be neither chalky nor orange, just a bit brightening. Also great on my sensitive sin, no irritation or pimples.

I really don’t like the smell. It just smells unclean. It doesn’t leave a white cast and it’s 50 SPF so maybe that’s the best u can get for a mineral sunscreen.

My most reordered product

I’ve been using this for about 3 years now and I’ll probably never use any other spf for my face again. This is a staple I’ve rebought so many times I’ve lost count. I pray they never change this formula because it really works for me. It’s the ONLY mineral sunscreen that doesn’t give me a white cast. I have light-medium skin and they tint this just enough that it matches my skin tone pretty well so I can’t talk for those with deeper or lighter skin tones. This caused me to stop wearing foundation and because it’s hydrating, I don’t apply moisturizer either. It’s like a 3-in-1 for me. I still apply concealer and setting powder though just because it can look a tad too oily otherwise, but that’s because I have combination skin that gets oily in the t zone already. The consistency is pretty liquidy so it’s easy to spread around my face without tugging. But because it’s liquidy, beware traveling with this. The only complaint I have is the packaging. It’s the worst design for a cap because it pops off so easy and I always end up with product in the cap that I have to dig out with my finger and it’s a mess. So I have to squeeze it into a travel jar when I fly. Even just storing this upside down results in it leaking into the cap. I wish they’d only change the bottle design and nothing else.

Sensitive to Niacinamide

I ended up having an allergic reaction (hives) to this probably due to the niacinamide. I thought it wouldn't be a problem since it is not that high on the ingredients list, but sadly my skin did not like it. I will still probably try to finish it since it is so expensive, but use it more sparingly and like when I'm just going out grocery shopping.
