My Ride or Die

I have used this for decades as a staple in my routine. I've dabbled with others, but always come back to the POREfessional. It fills in all weird little pore holes- especially on and around my nose. It feels silky soft once gently brushed on with my fingertips. It does not bubble or pill or melt under any foundations or tinted moisturizers- in fact- its transforming coverage is so lovely, I often use it and go- adding nothing else on top. A little goes a long way.

Acne causing ingredients

The reformulation of this product made my skin break out like CRAZY. I used this primer for years and didn’t realize they changed ingredients when they launched their “new look”! I stopped using it a couple of weeks ago and my skin looks so much better!!

Below average performance

Makeup doesn’t stick to it. There is some blurring effect but it feels a bit oily. Its performance is definitely not worth $60

Does a good job at smoothing pores, but it does pill some when I use it with certain moisturizers or foundations. Also it doesn’t do a very good job at keeping makeup in place. Would not purchase again.

The new formula is garbage- pills terribly, doesn't blur pores, doesn't mattify, makeup doesn't stick to it at all, and it's been making me break out like crazy. I would argue the promotional material for the new packaging art is genuinely false advertizing- Benefit says it's the same product you "know & love" with a "new look" but it's literally not the same product I have been buying for nearly a decade. If I had known it was a new formula, I would have bought a smaller container and treated it like a new product I was testing out, not gaslit myself for months into thinking it was all user error and I was just having a bad skin phase. I'd give this and the whole company 0 stars if I could.

Do not buy!

So disappointing!! I've used this product for years. Was always my go to primer. You can not use it under your makeup. It rolls off the minute you put any other product over the top of it.

Suggested Usage:
-To prime in the morning, apply a thin layer to moisturized skin from the center of the face outward. Wait a few seconds and apply makeup as usual or wear alone.
-To touch up over makeup, pat delicately on problem areas and blend. A little goes a long way.
-To smooth and brighten, layer the over "That Gal" Brightening Face Primer (sold separately).
-To help foundation stay put, always start with the POREfessional. Then blend Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow (sold separately) from the center of the face, out.
-To spot-conceal, apply the POREfessional over blemishes, then blend Boi-ing (sold separately) on top.
-For a photo-ready look, prime face with the POREfessional to minimize the look of pores and mattify skin. Apply your favorite Benefit makeup products, and then reapply the POREfessional.
