This is such a great primer. It helped to hydrate my skin prior to makeup application. I have mature skin (late 30s) that means more on the dry side especially during the cooler weather months. This did a great job at prepping my skin.

Feels like a moisturizer!
This is a great primer, if you have dry skin. It feels like a hydrating moisturizer. It's not tacky, which I like. My skin feels smooth, and also keeps my makeup intact. Shea butter can have too strong of a scent, but this does not. I have been using it, even with light coverage makeup. It's been great for everyday.

Hydrating with a beautiful glow
I really like how nicely this primer applies. The moisturizing cream texture feels especially nice under my eyes and gives my skin extra hydration before foundation. I was sent the Laura Geller Spackle Skin Perfecting Hydrating Primer with Squalane & Shea Butter and its nice. I have combination skin and tend experience dryness in some areas, so a good primer helps a lot before doing my makeup application. Nice Base for Makeup
I have dry skin, so priming my skin appropriately for makeup is a must or else my foundation with look really patchy by the end of the day. This worked well for me—I like the cream-gel formula and my skin felt nourished after using this. Even though I am acne-prone, I can tolerate shea butter as a facial skincare ingredient. I thought it had a nice blurring effect and my foundation sat nicely on top of this and held up for a full day. It felt lightweight on my skin and did not feel sticky. I could probably use this on “no makeup” days also because it does seem to soften texture and make my skin look a little more even.

Great silky moisturizing primer
I love this primer! It applies smoothly and leaves just enough radiance to feel glowy but not greasy. The product played well with several different foundations, and I had no issues with pilling or movement. I do feel it helped the longevity of my makeup on a few humid days, as I had to blot less, and tears from my allergies also didn’t move much product.
