I have been using this sunscreen for a year and it is not like any other mineral sunscreen I have used before. It is lightweight, a little goes a long way, and there is not white cast - it blends in smoothly. The best part is that it never runs into my eyes if I get sweaty. No more burning eyes! I golf a lot and have gone back and forth between mineral/chemical sunscreens from various brands. I gave this stuff a shot and it is becoming my go-to sunscreen, as I like that it is a mineral sunscreen, and I also like the consistency of it. As advertised, it is easy to rub it into the skin and it leaves the skin feeling good. Be sure to give it a good shake before using! I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Protection, But the Cast is Real
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ATWATER Skin Armor has the SPF power I need, but on darker skin? That white cast sticks around. The formulas lightweight and solid for sun defense, no doubtbut I wish it blended cleaner.
If youve got melanin-rich skin, this one might need a pass unless youre layering with something else.

Absorbs nicely, no white cast or ashy look. Has not caused oily skin nor any breakouts, does not have a noticeable sunscreen smell. I use it over the heavy armor moisturizer as the last step in my morning routine. Strongly recommend!

10/10 No greasy shine- just smooth and clear!
I despise facial sunscreen and I really havent worn much my whole life. I also have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to many products.
A few months ago I was at the dermatologist and she burned off two precancerous spots and told me I HAD to start wearing something preferably mineral protection vs. one made from chemicals. I was so overwhelmed with finding something I could stand that was both hypoallergenic and natural too. I spent so much money on things I hated. My friend highly recommended this local small business brand so I gladly tried it.

Its not greasy or oily or shiny. It feels just like I put on a moisturizer. Its natural and soft and didnt even leave a gross film on my sunglasses. My skin is happy and protected.
