Fine product, poor packaging

Hydrating and sunscreen is an added benefit, but after 6 months with plenty of product left in the tube, the tip doesn't let product or even air through. I've made sure the tip isn't blocked by clearing the hole with a toothpick, but when squeezed it's like squeezing a balloon - no air or product comes out of the top. Would not repurchase.

Chaps Lips

I used product for about two days before throwing it away. It chapped my lips so bad I was flakey for another four days. I can’t imagine using for sunscreen.

Nostalgic taste but not in a good way

I really wanted to like this product but I just realize it’s been sitting in my purse the last few months because I just don’t enjoy using it. It feels thick and goopy, but not only that I keep getting this nostalgic feeling, and I realize it happens because of the taste. And it reminds me of when I was left unsupervised as a child ate playdoh. Did not finish it. It’s in the trash.

no gross taste!!

I’m so impressed, this doesn’t have that horrible sunscreen lip product taste! It has a fragrance, but a quite mild flavor (and no burning mint feel). I like the glow/glossiness, it feels elevated but not too much if I’m just going out for a walk. It also stays on my lips pretty well. Silk pillow is a bit of an icy pink, a sheer pinkish on my fair skin, it might be a bit more light/frosty vs borderline clear for a darker or warmer skin tone.

Not Bad, Not the Best

In terms of SPF lippies, this one is solid. I have tried a bunch and been repulsed by a ton due to the SPF taste. This one has that slight SPF taste, but it is not overwhelming. It’s doable for the overall performance and color. It wouldn’t be my first choice though.

Revolting fragrance and taste

Can we please get a warning, like on cigarettes and alcohol, when a product has a revolting 'fragrance' and/or flavor? Absolutely disgusting. Threw it out after 2 uses.

Silk pillow is too opaque

Silk pillow is a surprisingly opaque pale pink that almost looks white on my lips. The formula itself is still great, cushy and nourishing. I don’t like vanilla scents, but this one dissipates quickly. No sunscreen smell or taste to me. Dusk is my favorite of the bunch because it is most sheer. Bejeweled is really warm because of the golden shimmers. Last bite is a beautiful purple berry.

Whole Summer Must Have Not Just Fridays

The protection your lips need in the sun. After spending the day in the pool and direct sun, I was happy that I had this lip product on. Provided hydrating protection. Very slight color, no scent and no taste. Can't tell there is sunscreen in this product. For reference, Summer Friday's is not my favorite lip gloss. Ole Hendrickson is my fave and this product feels as nourishing with lip barrier hydration. This would be second fave. There is little to no color payoff, but the comfortable wear is worth it.
