A must try, but ease into it!
I only used aluminum deodorants prior to this. I switched to a different aluminum free brand that darkened my armpits. I heard about the brightening effects of Cyklar and tried it. I truly fell in love. This is my third week of using it. By the end of the first week, my armpits were bright, though there was bad odor still. At the end of the second week, I found the odor start to lessen — I’m sure that has to do with my body adjusting to the aluminum free. I’m at the start of the third week and can’t really smell the bad odor and my armpits are not dark anymore.
Things to note about this deo:
1. It may take time for your body to adjust.
2. LET IT DRY! I’ve found that not letting it dry can cause it to feel sticky and be more smell inducing.
3. It may not be for everyone & everyone is different.

Great deo for me, funny smell stopped, let it dry
This works super well for me. In the very beginning I got a bit of an acrid bitter smell in my pits, which was not unexpected b/c I’m familiar with Mandelic acid deo—so I started wearing it after before-bed showers, and then the acrid smell just stopped, and the lovely, warm, woody scent of the Sacred Santal was all there was left, and no b.o. for at least a full day. I do let it fully dry before putting on clothes, and I don’t reapply unless I’ve bathed. I also understand that it’s not an antiperspirant, and I cannot expect to do a hard workout and not sweat or need to wash & reapply. Come on, why do people think a deodorant is failing if you push way past its reasonable functions? I’ve been using natural deodorants for like 15 years and I know the technology and chemistry has upgraded seriously in the last 7-ish years, but this still os one of the best *for me*. Also the only sandalwood-containing scent that doesn’t smell like dill to me. I real like the scent and I’m re-ordering.

I love AHA deodorant so it was no surprise I liked this one! I love the Santal smell, it’s not too strong but very clean scented. I have definitely seen improvements with ingrown hairs and discoloration, I like to use this on days that I don’t shave my armpits because it can cause irritation (just as anything might after shaving). I love using it at night before bed as well, I feel like it really combats odor and works which is amazing! I struggled so long to find something that worked for my underarms and AHA deodorant was the key!
