I own and have owned multiple hair straighteners. I have fine hair that tends to pouf and frizz in humidity, and it is naturally wavy. I struggle with straightening it, and keeping it looking good. I returned this garbage..

It ruined my colored hair! burned it.
IT BURNED MY HAIR!! I am shocked and almost in tears. just got it and tried it today in One section of hair. my hair has been recently colored 5 days ago. never in a million years would I think what it did to it!! it left a horrible decoloration mark like stripes in an ash blond colored hair. heat was set in medium I am not sure what happened, how could this possible had happened even if it was set in the highest level .am super disappointed and almost traumatized I spent a lot of money in my.hair and 7+ hours coloring it to be destroyed like this in a very front piece (fame framing) I'll now have to go back to the hair dresser and ask to fix it and pay even more. extremely shocked and disappointed.

Thick hair approved!!
I have VERY thick hair and this straightened and curled my hair in no time. I always used to struggle with using a flat iron to curl/bend my ends and this one did that and MORE!! So much body volume and bounce!! I’m in love. Not to mention the auto shut off feature for the days I’m rushing out the door and can’t remember if I cut it off. Suggested Usage: -Work in one to three inches of cleanly parted sections. -For straightening, position the iron as close to the scalp as safely possible without touching the scalp. -Place the section between the plates, close the iron, and slowly pull through to the ends. -Bevel the iron slightly toward the face. -For s-waves, hold the iron horizontally. -Begin at the roots. -Place the section between the plates, close the iron and push on the section of hair to create an "s-shape." -Clamp and release the iron over each "s-shape." -Move down the section and alternate the direction of the "s-shape" while continuing to feed the hair between the plates.
