Received these serum capsules by way of Macys . My question is about the texture. Is it supposed to be somewhat gritty? It wasnt just a smooth velvety feel upon applying. Thank you for any insight.

It takes me awhile to not want to wash it off right away due to the burning and itching initial feel.
