Best deep red

This is the best red for light to medium and medium skin. Perfect deep red. This will be my signature red forever. I have tons of red lipsticks but this one stands out in terms of its color and consistency and everything. Worth every penny.

Do not buy

This is the 3rd lipstick I’ve bought from this brand, that just broke out of nowhere. I’ve never had this issue even with lipsticks from the dollar store. How’s Pat McGrath going to charge $40 for such cheap defective packaging? Never again.

Worst packaging

I got Flesh 03 and Flesh 05. The color itself is so good; especially for brown skin. But this formula will dry out your lips severely. The worst thing though, is the packaging. For such an expensive product, the quality is sub par.

Phenomenal candy-apple red Elson is the perfect candy-apple red—bright, rich, and absolutely gorgeous. The color and feel are flawless, and the formula has that smooth, luxurious quality you expect at this price. The packaging is darling and feels special too. My only complaint is the lipstick itself has broken in two out of the three tubes I’ve owned, which brings it down a star for me. Otherwise, the color and formula are phenomenal.

Description is incorrect.

I thought no this is warmer than the description. It is not blue-pink. It is brown-pink. For the cost, don’t order online. You need to go into the store and try the shades on in case they’re not your colour. I love the product however. It’s the best matte I’ve ever found. They no longer sell my colour

Case is distinctive but defective

Beautiful color, texture and lasting power. But - and this is a big but - the color fell out of the case after I used it a few weeks. I have never had this happen with a lipstick other than the two I purchased from Pat McGrath. No answer from customer service

Suggested Usage:

Prep and Define

- Smooth lips with exfoliant, then dab on a touch of Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Concealer (sold separately) to neutralize natural lip color and create the perfect canvas.

- Define the lip and enhance staying power with a coordinating PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencil (sold separately).

Build Color Opacity in Layers

- Use your finger to press and roll color onto the lip.

- Start in the middle of the bottom lip and work outwards to either edge. Repeat on the top lip.

Create Longer-Lasting Wear

- After applying Lipstick, gently pull a tissue apart into two thin sheets.

- Press one of the sheets against the lips and lightly dust with Sublime Perfection Setting Powder (sold separately).
