Cool taupe = somewhat cool but still warm

I have very cool toned skin, and initial swatches proved promising. However, on my eye, the cool taupe palette does pull more neutral-to-warm. If you're expecting a true cool toned palette, it's not this, but the shadows blend well and go on just as well as (if not better than) Natasha Denona. I'm keeping this even though the color isn't what I expected because the performance is strong enough. Highly recommend to swatch in person and save your receipt, just in case!

Beautiful formula, disappointing color story.

The palette itself is beautiful and very practical. As others have mentioned, the mirrored packaging does show fingerprints very easily, which is probably the only thing I dislike about the design. Unfortunately, the shade selection was the biggest disappointment for me. It is called Warm Rose, but I honestly don’t see much rose in it. The shades are definitely warm, but they lean much more brown, with only slight rosy undertones here and there. I was expecting a noticeably rosier color story. That said, the formula is beautiful. The shadows apply incredibly smoothly, the pigmentation is rich and gorgeous, and they last very well throughout the day. There is quite a bit of fallout, though, so I recommend tapping off the excess from your brush before applying. I really wanted to love this palette because the quality is excellent, but sadly the colors are not what I expected from something called Warm Rose. With a heavy heart, I’ll be returning it.

Love this palette! Great for sensitive eyes, talc free and very buildable. If you have a true pale cool tone complexion it does pull more neutral than cool, but it’s actually really nice to have this as an option! It still harmonizes with your skin tone and it’s nice to have a choice that isn’t just greys, silvers and blacks.
