the price point kills me truly. as a girl on accutane and struggling with cracked bleeding lips (a rough mental image I know) I would do anything for some relief and this is top tier. I have easily spend $200+ on lip products alone layering multiple on top of one another but this product just does it for me. although it’s a steep price point and I go through it at a crazy rate of speed I will undoubtedly be repurchasing.

Still chasing the Bite lip mask replacement
Ok, at first I was like "tf is this. hate. too expensive." But after using it on and off for afew months I realized I really loved it. It's pretty thick so it can be kinda hard to get out, and you don't need alot. Personally, not a huge fan of the applicator. Something about it sort of pulls on my lips which makes the dead skin come loose and then the balm is chunky (it's pretty gross) so I have to wipe it off and reapply. I've tried exfoliating first, still happens. if I putthe product on my finger it doesn't happen. But I don't want to use my finger! that's why I bought something with a built in applicator! Also. It needs to be stored sitting on it's cap or it will all settle then you have to fight. But, I've been out for a while and I really miss how hydrated it made my lips overnight.

Allergic reaction
I don’t usually write product reviews. But, after about one month of consistent use, this lip balm triggered an allergic reaction of some kind on my lips. After reading some other reviews, this same experience seems to have happened a few other times. In my experience, this lip balm caused dryness, flaky skin, small red blister-like bumps, and, eventually, angular cheilitis. Unfortunately, it took awhile for me to realize that this product in particular was to blame. I went to see my doctor who prescribed an ointment, which was the only thing that I used on my lips for several days. After the irritation went away, I used this lip balm, and just this lip balm, again. By the next day, the irritation was back. This lip balm has caused me to develop some kind of allergy. I can no longer use Chapstick products either. I’d post a picture of the irritation, but it’s honestly too gross.
