I wanted to love this, for comparison I love the ilia skin serum tint, the rose inc water tint, and the chantecaille future gel foundation. This looked awful on my skin. It almost just sat over it. It looked so oily and tacky, my skin type is normal. It almost aged me, I could see my lines and pores more than before. It was just not a match for my skin.

It’s alright
I have so many foundations and newly dry skin these past few years since I hit my 40’s. I hesitated on this as I have found a few I really love but also wanted to replace my Givenchy as its not cruelty free. After all the positive reviews , I caved. It’s fine. I kinda regret it. I likely won’t reach for it over the Natasha Denona, lys, new Westman, Haus or even hourglass or tower 28 skin tints . They are all just better. It’s hydrating which is good but just doesn’t sit as nicely as others. It feels and looks heavier. It’s not bad but just a lot better options out there.

Beautiful finish but makes me breakout :/
I have very pale olive skin & this is the perfect match for when I self tan. However my skin is also very reactive (acne & dermatitis prone) & I have noticed without fail every time I wear this foundation, I get deep pimples around my mouth & chin. I’ve taken breaks to let it clear up, then go back to using it without changing anything else in my routine & after a day or two the breakouts return. It’s such a shame because the color is beautiful & I love how this looks on my skin (it evens everything out, looks just like real skin & lasts a while with a little setting powder) but I can’t deal with the pimples that follow.

Suggested Usage: Mary’s Signature Technique: -Apply one pump of foundation on the back of your hand and then evenly distribute the product into The Foundation Brush (sold separately). -Start with thin layers.
