I jumped the gun and purchased this and almost every color without trying it first. I think the only one I didn’t buy was cherry pie. The state in which they arrived varied so I wasn’t sure how pigmented the product is meant to be when properly applied. There was an even layer of oil (this may not be oil, but it was an oil-like substance) on top of Pink Chai & Rose Crush when I first opened them, making them sheer and buildable. I LOVE pink chai. Rose crush is also beautiful. They sort of just made me look healthier :) However, the darker shades did not have that layer of oil on top when I first opened them, and they were significantly more pigmented upon initial application - so not as buildable. I don’t necessarily dislike how this looked on my skin, but I did return them because I am not sure how the product will age. Will the shades begin to mix the more I use them and become more pigmented as time goes by? Will the oil separate in all of them? Who knows. Too much mystery for me.

I went in to try on this blush because of the formula. To my surprise I really loved the application and the final look of the blush. I was searching for a sophisticated blush that gave a natural hue and flush rather than a pop of color that other blushes do on me. I'm light medium olive neutral skin tone (dark hair and brown eyes) that really needs to try on makeup to make sure it doesn't pull too orange or pink. But once I find it, I love it! This is the case with Berry Toasty on my cheeks and lips. I originally went in to try the mauve color but it was a bit too pink and bright for my taste. I saw this and thought it might be too dark but it blended beautifully and gave me the wash of color I was desiring. I like it over my Dior stick foundation or on bare skin! Please keep making this! When applying dab a small amount at the center of wherever you like to wear your blush then tap it outwards. Give a few seconds and it melts into the skin. My pot did not have a film of oil on top and was just consistent jelly that clinged to my finger enough for me to distribute on each cheek. I like on the lips as well but I mainly love it for the color and finish on my cheeks. Very difficult to find with most blushes being overly pigmented. As for staying power, I am not sure yet.

Pleasantly surprised with this product! I bought it on a whim because the shade my ideal blush-contour. I find myself picking it up every time I wear makeup now. Haven’t used it as a lip product but it seems cute

Difficult to open and once I opened the product, oil spilled on me. Had to use a tissue to absorb the oil. Product was too oily to see any color on my cheeks.

I can't recommend this product. I was looking to try something different that the MILK cooling jelly tint for fun, and have ended up being the MILK brand again because this formula just isn't great. It's hard to get out of the container in appropriate amounts and doing blend as nicely as other stains. It also seems to require a lot of product to really pigment my cheeks, which feels like a bit of a waste of money.

This was actually my first Makeup by Mario product, and I really like it! I wouldn’t say it gives that super high-end, glamorous makeup look, but for me it’s perfect for everyday makeup, especially for the office or a natural “no-makeup makeup” look. I love that you get two products in one, and it’s really easy to use. Definitely a nice everyday staple to have.

Okay, I was a bit skeptical at first because these “jelly” things can sometimes be sticky, but this balm is surprisingly light! The 'Berry Toasty' color is such a gorgeous, natural-looking flush on my cheeks. I just take a little dab and pat it in – it blends like a dream. On my lips, it gives a pretty tint without feeling heavy, and it actually keeps them hydrated, which is unusual for a stain. A tiny bit goes a long way, so this little pot is definitely worth it. Love the versatility for a quick five-minute look!"

I have had this product for a couple months and as soon as I got it it was separating. The oil/fragrance would separate from the rest of the product leaving just a layer of liquid that could be dumped out. I mixed the product togetherso the layer was gone but the same exact thing happened again within a few weeks. The product continues to separate time and time again. I will say that the pigmentation is nice but there really isnt much else to say about it

I really like the results of this balm on my skin. I’m in my 40’s and it sits well on my skin. A couple dabs blends into a nice subtle glow or can add more for additional color.
