The product is exfoliating but the little bits were not hard for me, I enjoyed the scrub! It smelled amazing and I loved that it was an Ayurvedic brand. I enjoy using this quickly a few times a week and immediately notice soft skin and blurred pores. Just make sure you emulsify with warm water and rub gently if you’re apprehensive!

Hard, scratchy pass
Big fan of Ranavat saffron serum and thought I'd branch out. Unfortunately this product is not it, the large "exfoliating" bits feel like large shards of glass and it's not even effective as a cleanser really as it still left behind bits of dirt and makeup (despite being used as part of a double cleansing routine). Hard pass.

Bad smell, bad texture, ineffective product
The rice powder is not finely milled as advertised. They are sparse, large bits and chucks of rice which does not feel good on the skin. The smell is very strongly rose scented which is so overpowering, it stays on my hands and skin even after washing with other products. Worst of all, it just simply didn’t cleanse my skin! It left an unpleasant residue and was not effective at washing away dirt, makeup etc.
Doesn’t work.
