Nice color and doesn't feel sticky... but it does not hydrate the lips. The moisture, color, shine sits on the surface and rubs off easily.

I think I found my perfect lip product !

Honestly, this is the best lip product I’ve tried in a while! I purchased this in Sephora without seeing the reviews and have been using it for some time now. I’ve tried so many lip products and by far this one might be my holy grail. It’s not sticky, it’s nourishing and the color is so natural on my lips (which has been a challenge to find). It’s very sheer, but just buildable enough that it doesn’t end up looking unnatural. I’ve also found that it lasts a long time without being too slippery or too sticky. After reading the reviews I don’t feel like i’ve had an issue with the packaging at all. I make sure to “scrape off” the excess (like you might do with nail-polish) to make sure extra product doesn’t build up around the opening. Also, there is a very mild cooling/menthol sensation, but it is by no means strong like plumping products. I’d say the cooling sensation is adjacent to Dior’s lip oil. No scent and overall just pleasant experience. It’s easy to apply since it’s so sheer, even without a mirror. It has a “blurring” effect so the lips look hydrated without harsh lines or stark colors - so it looks natural! I’m also allergic to a very common ingredient in lip glosses and oils, so I’m glad this one didn’t have it! I will definitely have to purchase this again!

Drying

I tried this out for a couple of days and found the formula to be drying. Not only is it drying, but it doesn’t last on the lips that long—found myself having to reapply within minutes of application.

Burns and dries lips

Dried out my lips. The plumping is mild but the burn is noticeable and lasting. I ended up with chapped lips after about 2 days of use. The product moves around easily so you have to check throughout the day make sure you don’t look like you put on your lips without a mirror.

Small amount of product. Not worth the price.

Loved the actual product but so disappointed by the amount of product. A usually Summer Fridays lip balm lasts me months but I just finished this lip oil in about 3 weeks and I’m not applying much product at all.

Bitter disappointment

Gorgeous color, so hard to find a cool toned pink/neutral lip shade and it feels lovely when applied. HOWEVER I have never used such a drying product before in my life... almost instant burning irritation from dryness... took hours with the use of other products to make it stop. Incredibly disappointing when it could be such an amazing product... this color with the quality/formula of their butter balm would be a dream. Unfortunately, this isn't even a case of not repurchasing, but not being able to reuse the one I have.
