Non-irritating on sensitive skin
Good for sensitive skin. I used it on my skin after peeling from retinol -- it did not burn, felt very good to use. As to its efficacy, I do not know; it could be just water. But it is indeed very very gentle on the skin, and soothing (?)

Mix-up somewhere?
Got sent an "advanced formula" version after using the regular stuff for about ten years after having to order it from a gal in-store. Not sure why I got sent this "advanced" version but it rashed my chin out and gave me super stubborn, painful cysts on my face. The regular stuff works great, I've never had an issue. Not sure if this was a mistake from the manufacturer or if the lady at the store didn't listen to what I was trying to order and ordered me the wrong crap, but this stuff stinks. Doesn't work as well as the original version. Again, not really sure how I got stuck with this crap, I've been using the standard version for ten plus years with zero issues, but this advanced crap is just that...garbage. Wish I had noticed the difference in the bottled way sooner so I could return it.

Good Quality; However, There Are Still Issues
Let me start with the Positive: Product feels refreshingly soothing, especially on days when skin feels taut, looks dry, or simply needs pampering.
Now for the other issues, and I have 3:
1. Product category - This is marketed as a treatment lotion. The term "lotion" is rather misleading because of its watery consistency. In my opinion, a lotion is a tad more viscous.
I also hesitate to call this a "toner" because it is not indicated for wiping off residual impurities after cleansing. I'm therefore more inclined to call this an "essence," primarily because of the botanical extracts included in the formula, though they may not be as concentrated as a those found in a "serum."
2. Packaging - I received this as part of a travel kit in a 50mL bottle with a screw cap. Being watery in consistency, it is difficult to dispense the right amount without spilling and wasting its precious contents. I have since decanted into a bottle with a flip-top cap.
3. Price point - Due to its high price tag, I generally reserve the use of this to personal spa days. I am currently trying lesser expensive products from The Inkey List and The Ordinary. The Drugstore is not off-limits in my quest for affordable, ethically sourced, yet highly effective skin care products.
Overall, good product quality, but I need to deduct 2** for the issues mentioned above.

Nice but expensive
Love this. Luxurious. Pricy. I do miss a toner that removes dirt but this is not that kind of toner.

Amazing formula!!
Most of the toners i’ve used have alcohol and irritate and dry my skin. This toner however has no alcohol, and it super moisturizing. Very gentle for dry skin! I experience no irritation when using.
