Used this serum for a year and loved it and then all summer I’ve been having issues with rashes and irritation and red bumps breakouts everything you could think of. Shame on me I didn’t think to check my skincare’s own label for reformulation but realized that this was reformulated and Sephora didn’t update the ingredients on the website and I didn’t check the box just the website so for anyone with sensitive skin, sensitivity to niacinamide or fungal acne stay clear!

MISLEADING INGREDIENTS LIST- Formula Has Changed
This has been my holy grail serum for 3+ years and when Sephora started carrying Beauty of Joseon, I was happy to order it on auto-replenish. However, the bottle I received most recently gave me a stinging sensation upon application which has never happened before. After checking the product box, I realized that it has a COMPLETELY different ingredients list from my previous bottles and from what is listed in the description on the Sephora product page. The addition of macadamia ternifolia oil makes it NOT fungal acne safe and I suspect the newly added niacinamide is also a culprit in making my skin sting as I have never gotten along well with it. Incredibly disappointing and misleading.

Hydrating, but fairly average
This has helped with hydration a little, and maybe even slightly with redness. But it’s not amazing. It’s not sticky, which I do like, but overall it feels like an extra step with minimal benefits for my skin. I had no negative side effects. No breakouts. It's cheap enough to give it a go. But I wouldn't repurchase this.

Nada. Zilch. Nothing.
This did absolutely nothing for me, as a matter of fact, I actually think it l dried my skin out more. The price is great for a product, but that’s it. I’m not a fan of the bottle either. It’s plastic. Not glass which is what you’d
expect.
Remember, my review is my review. All skin is different so try it out because it might be a game changer for you.

must have when using red light
supposedly, green tea makes red light way more effective & I really do notice a difference when applying this prior to my session. this serum has the most green tea, minus oil & retinol (stuff I don't want w/ red light). also very reasonably priced.

Not worth it. Doesn’t do anything. Sticky.
Doesn’t really do anything. I get red in the face easily from washing, touching, etc. This did not change that at all. It also is a little sticky. Not something I would go out of my way to use. Would not buy. I have tried other things from this brand that are much better.

There was a subtle reduction of redness on first use, hoping that continues. My only complaint is the stickiness. I don’t mind the stickiness unless I’m using foundation. Very difficult to apply and blend my foundation even with moisturizer as a middle barrier.

Ingredients listed online not accurate
Buyer beware, ingredients listed online are not accurate! The product I received has niacinamide in it, which can trigger acne for some, in addition to several other ingredients not listed. The additional ingredients now make the product NOT safe for fungal acne and slightly more comedogenic. So sad the product arrived with a completely different ingredient list!

Redness reducing
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is definitely gentle on the skin. Hard to say how well it calms the skin as I have eczema and it obviously doesn’t cure that. I feel like it did reduce redness and you don’t need much, it goes alone way.
