The bag is not too big nor too small, just enough room to hold basics: small wallet, cell phone, small umbrella, keys, other miniature items. There are two outer flaps that are super convenient for metro cards, business cards, keys gum etcetera. The strap is adjustable. I was concerned about the tiny purse attached to the strap but it's a nice addition. It could look vintage in a couple years. The material is sturdy.
Go for it! I always wanted a bag with this shape, it's chic especially for professional women. The plus is, it feels safe for commuting.

Pouch on strap is bizarre
Absolutely love the purse itself, but the zipper pouch on the strap is literally on your back when you have the purse on....how is that handy. Would be great if I could remove it or get it on the front part of the purse so I can actually reach it. Now I'll be returning it because that is just too odd.
